Does Competitor Insights show exact spend or impression figures for competitor ads?
Competitor Insights shows relative signals — such as how long an ad has been running and which ads appear in the "Most Impressions" sort — but it does not display exact spend or impression count figures. The data is sourced from public ad library information, which does not include precise campaign-level metrics. Use "Longest Running Ads" and "Most Impressions" as qualitative signals to identify which competitor creatives are likely performing best.
What is the difference between Active and Inactive ads?
Active means the ad received at least one impression in the past 7 days. Inactive means the ad has not received any impressions in the past 7 days and has likely been paused or stopped. Tracking when a competitor pauses an ad can be as strategically useful as knowing when they launch new ones.
