Does a subscription deliver live data or a fixed snapshot?
Subscriptions always deliver live data at the time of each scheduled delivery. Every time the subscription runs, Segwise pulls the latest data from your report at that moment.
If my report uses a rolling date range, will the subscription always show the latest data?
Yes. A rolling date range (such as "Last 7 Days") automatically reflects the most recent window at the time of delivery. You do not need to update anything.
I set up a Slack subscription but I'm not receiving anything — how do I fix this?
• Check the Slack Bot is connected — go to Settings → Setup Slack Bot and confirm the status shows "Added."
• Check the correct channel is selected under the subscription settings.
• Confirm the delivery time and timezone. The default is Asia/Kolkata — update this if you are in a different timezone.
• Send a test via the Send Test button.
• Make sure the Segwise bot has been invited to the specific channel. In Slack, go to the channel and type /invite @Segwise if it hasn't been added.
I set up an email subscription but no one received the email — what should I check?
• Confirm subscribers were selected in the subscription settings.
• Ask recipients to check their spam or promotions folder.
• Click Send Test to trigger an immediate test email.
• Verify the time and timezone are set correctly.
A user I want to add as an email subscriber is not showing up — what should I do?
The email subscriber list shows users who have been added to your Segwise account. If someone is not appearing, they may not yet have a Segwise account under your workspace. Check whether they have been added to your workspace and that they have access to that particular report or board.
I accidentally deleted a subscription — can I get it back?
Deleted subscriptions cannot be recovered. To recreate it, open the report or board, click Subscribe, and set it up again using + Create New.
