Nomenclature Tags decode structured information from your creative naming conventions. If your team follows a naming pattern — for example, including the platform, target region, or creative format in the name — Nomenclature Tags can extract those pieces and turn them into filterable tags in Segwise. This is different from AI Tags, which analyse the visual and written content inside the creative. For example, if your creative is named US_Meta_Video_Q1_Promo, a Nomenclature Tag could extract "US" as the Region, "Meta" as the Platform, and "Video" as the Format.
Go to Settings → AI Tags → Nomenclature Tags.
On the Nomenclature Tags page, enable tags using the toggle.
Click "Start Setup"
Select the separator that you use in your creative names. Fow example "_" underscore.
Select "setup tags manually"
Segwise allows you to setup nomenclature tags based on 3 rule
Identifier based - This rule finds the tag value by looking for a unique text identifier that comes before it.

Position based - This rule finds the tag value based on its numerical position in the creative name (e.g., 1st, 2nd, 3rd).

Condition based - Define filter conditions to match creative metadata like ad group name, campaign name, or creative name.
