When you connect Google Ads, Google asks for “See, edit, create and delete” access. Google offers no read-only option for third-party apps — this is a Google limitation, not a Segwise choice.
Segwise only ever reads your data. It never edits, creates, or deletes anything in your Google Ads account. Google simply requires this broad scope for any app connecting to its Ads API.
If your organisation's policy blocks the connection, your Google Workspace admin needs to allow Segwise.
