Why does clicking Custom Tags open a new browser tab?

The Custom Tags setup opens the Segwise Tag Bot — a separate guided interface hosted on a different domain — where you can define your custom tag logic. This is by design. Complete the tag setup in that tab and it will be reflected back in your Segwise workspace.
